IDM 7.2 workflow through sysname

Hi all,

have anyone implement an IDM that depending of the sysname (HR unique fields) the approval goes a specific area?

Eg:

number range         

1000 - 1999               Employee (receive payroll)

7000 - 7999               Contractors

So the if user 7001 is register on HCM and we want to send an approval to one manager

however if the user 1001 is hired no approval is necessary.

is there any standard wat of doing this? is it possible even with development ?

any ideia or experience will be helpfull
