Dear experts,
I have a FERT which is in turn made of two assemblies HALB and HALB1. HALB and HALB1 are in turn made of many raw materials. In my case, not just FERT but also assembly HALB are assembled only after receiving the sales order for FERT. HALB1 and all the raw materials are procured/produced in a typical make to stock scenario.
MRP4 - Individual/coll. is set as 1 for FERT and HALB. The indicator is set as 2 for HALB1 and all the raw materials.
MD61 is used to create PIR for FERT. MD02 is used to run MRP for FERT.
As you know, we cannot convert the planned orders to production orders for FERT and HALB based on the settings above.
Now, Sales order for 90 pieces is created for FERT. MD02 is used to again run MRP for FERT.
The first planned order of FERT (for 100 pieces) is consumed by the sales order. That planned order is reduced to 10 pieces and a separate order for 90 pieces is created to satisfy the sales order. As expected, this planned order for 90 pieces can be converted to production order.
Now, the problem is regarding assembly HALB. I don't have any planned orders to convert to production orders even after receiving the sales order for FERT.
I have attached the screen shots for FERT and HALB. Could you please help me to resolve the issue?
