Started using embedded search on the ERP system and has some questions/need understanding. Have indexed several 'ERP business objects' - customer, material, purchase order, etc.
In the Connector Administrator Cockpit, (transaction ESH_COKCPIT),
1. connector name 'Sales Orders', it has optimized 11,750,000 <- what does this number represent? Where is this coming from?
2. when you drill down to 'physical indexes', it has 'Index ID' like
... <SID>~KNA1~CUSTOMER
... <SID>~VKORG~VKORG
.. <SID>~MATNR~MATNR
.. <SID>~SALES_ORDER~VBPA
.. <SID>~SALES_ORDER~VBAP
Similar question - where does this mean? which table are they coming from? Is it one to one with other table, i.e. If VBPA is 200 million, there will be 200 million 'optimized'?
3. In the indexing, although there several index servers, it is only using one at a time, especially with SALES_ODER~VBPA/VBPA/VBAKVBKD - so indexing is very long. I have already increased the tmpx_threads but still not using the extra index servers.
